Finally Interviewed...Jack or Mike or?

Well, I interviewed yesterday at one of the stations in question that could be going to a Jack or Mike. Very interesting to know the program director was very happy to announce a switch this summer. He asked me to keep it hush hush until the station launches.
So who is it going to be? This station has its van going in for a new wrap around. They have designed a wrap that displays the artist pictures, names and the stations frequency.Lets just say they are geting JACKED UP! Their parent company has many other stations in large and major markets. They also m
ost recently went through a staff change and its morning crew will soon be out.
Here are a few hints:
1)Waiting for a "Star" to fall!
2)All "Mixed" up and dont know what to do!
3)Jack say's, How "Kool" would it be!
4)o"K"-"K"an you say p"L"ea"Z"e! (OK, can you say please!)
5)No, dont take it to the "X-Treme"-Mancow is on the way!
6)The "Lite" was out before it even started!

No its not Mix, KKLZ or X1075. Star or Kool? I know It'll be Kool to see the STARS go tumbling down with a MIX of LITE in the sky! Now that Mix has no PD running the house and the morning show looking for a new home in Denver. They stand to hurt the most this summer.

I find it surprising (and hard to believe) that a PD would tell a job applicant about plans for going Jack. But I'll play along anyway.Going by your hints, I would guess Lite? It's one of the stations you don't rule out, plus you say it's a company that's concentrated in large markets which fits Infinity. As I mentioned in the previous thread, Infinity loves Jack. Just today they switched their oldies stations in both New York City and Chicago to Jack. It seems Infinity is on a mission to switch a station to Jack in any market where it doesn't exist.

Still I think Infinity/LV is better off keeping KMZQ AC. If they go Jack I could see it being a huge victory for Clear Channel. Sunny would get most of Lite's listeners which would push KSNE to #1 both 12+ and 25-54. Plus Mix would get hurt by Jack as much as any other station.

Star would really suffer if a station goes Jack. The last thing they need is Jack to enter the market. By staying 80s and more, KSTJ is in effect gambling that no one else will switch to Jack (or Bob, Mike, Ben, etc.).
