...unfortunately, it's in Zanesville (naturally  :mad: :mad: ).

But z92 is exactly the kind of AC/Hot AC music mix Columbus has needed for so long but just can't seem to get.

Does anyone know if they use a service, and if so which one?

CC Premium Choice Hot AC is also pretty good, but I know THAT will never make it here even though there would be minimal overlap with NCI.  I'm not going to search, but I'd wager there's more than one market with both a CC Kiss-style CHR and a Premium Choice Hot AC.

to my knowledge Z92 is programmed locally in Zanesville they don't use a satellite feed.
 
Based on the recommendation in this thread, I added this station's stream to the presets in my Internet radio. My wife is thrilled with it. I'm not as familiar with the CHR tracks in its playlist, but IMHO the selection of 80s and 90s tracks is excellent. Plus the stream is 128k. 8)
 
I agree with Mr. Roo 100%

I live in Lancaster and Z92 is all I listen to. Musics Good however, DJ's aren't the best.

Hope the format stays.

Z92 comes in well there? I've always liked Lancaster, and now I have another reason to.
 
The jocks are pretty terrible, but they are sitting in Zanesville and you have to give WHIZ Media Group a LOT of credit for being live and local 24/7 in an era when even major market stations are largely voicetracked.

I've been listening for a couple hours and have to say it is impressive. The last segue from Whitesnake to Dee-lite was odd, but a welcome change of pace.
