Finally!!!

Why am I just noticing that this board has been reborn? Scooter Lesley, are you trying to hog it all for yourself?

Lots of familiar facelifts here. Good to be back among the brethren.

Carry on.

Dan,....My Brother in Broadcasting,...and Barbeque(a food group)! Here I am, with half of my Radio knowledge tied behind my back, but no one will play with me.
I brushed my teeth........I don't understand. Where are....all these Brave,..."Trust Me, I Know"....Auditorium Music Testing....Pencilneck Consultants?
Are they hiding in the stalls because the mere mention of my name causes them to soil their undergarments? Come out!.....Outta your Worm Holes, your Closets,
your wive's Closets! Where are you.........?????????

Without any harshness, I have never been a listener to Russ Cassell, the talk show host/co-host. At WFBC-FM, he was good on the air, but there were others, with a little more edge; Chris Scott was one of the Best that ever keyed a Live mic. Honorable mention to Patty Snow. Both V-N Veterans, Scott Shannon, and Matt Phillips are deceased. Also RIP: Jerry Howard, Wally Mullinax, Mark Sanders, James Irwin, Steve Chris, Paul Ritchie, Willis H. Crosby, Tom Norman, and my good friend of over 30-years, Bill Walker.

Dan,...anyone,....Is J.D. or Beach Bob still producing their shows??

I know beach Bob is not doing a show. He is still doing a lot of DJ work at parties and events, and last year was part of our Furman football coaches show on Thursday nights.

Catching up on a few years of forum posts and can't believe Scooter pulls a name out like Willis H.! Since Cornell Blakely's passing I have been thinking a lot about all the old soul jocks I knew that never really got the respect or remembrances they deserved then he mentions Willis H., who, in his later years loved to play 45's at 33 and vice versa and always forgot to bulk erase carts before recording so you got two commercials at the same time. I guess that's a creative way to cut down on stopsets. Didn't Willis spend his entire career on WANS AM?
