Finebaum syndication

Just curious. Any insight into how Finebaum's syndication deal might work? Hard to believe CC/ARN would continue to distribute a competitor's show. My guess is...when FB was a CC employee and on the air at WERC, perhaps he personally retained the syndication rights to the show. If so, then he could now contract CC/ARN as a distributor only. Or...is he now being fed by another satellite company? Just wondering.

Finebaum is no longer available on the cc/arn frequency. When he made the move to Citadel, his show moved to the frequency formerly used by "JOX 690" when they were offering their programming a couple of years ago. The move was without problem, at least on our end.

Thanks for the info! Still wondering exactly what channel/satellite company that is. There are only a handful of options here in the state. Either CC with their ARN main and auxilary channels...and then ADSN which distributes AU, ALA, UAB, and Troy. I'm not sure who JOX was using when they had their programming up for syndication, but thanks again for the reply!

Thanks "old timer"...for the info and the kind words regarding last week's broadcasts from Birmingham. Let me know if I can ever return the favor!

Mike,
You should consider doing a daily sports talk show. A good southern show from 6-9am or noon-2 would be great! This would help complete the day surrounding "Max Howell" and "Paul Finebaum".

Thanks for the suggestion Doug. I'll work on it. In the meantime, check me out (at least temporarily) with Ken Stabler and Chris Stewart...weekday afternoons from 2-6pm on WERC, Birmingham. www.960werc.com
Thanks again...
