Fineburg

So I finally got a chance to listen to Todd Fineburg today:

WOW! Is he bad!

He kept having one way conversations with his producer like some kind of mental case. Is the talent pool really that shallow?

He also said he found Jesus on the cross erotic, which is creepy and creeping in to Jay S. territory. ::)

Between Finneran and Fineburg, ratings must be falling faster than fried clam crumbs from Howie's mouth.

One of the things I HATE is when the on-air 'talent' have these 'one-way conversations' with the person in the control booth. Message to those who do it: IT'S LAME! It runs right up there with fingernails on a blackboard for things that are awful to listen to. I personally think WRKO is setting themselves up for the 'Fairness Doctrine' if a Dem gets elected. The Dems have the TV networks in their back pocket, but not so talk radio. And because of that they are whining that radio stations need to be 'fair and balanced.' I see no such commentary as it relates to NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC. But talk radio needs to be corralled, so sayeth the Dems, and perhaps WRKO is attempting to balance themselves before they are forced to do so.

Like a crumb would get a chance to escape. :D

It's only funny when Savage does it, because he's yelling at the ops not talking to them. Then his cell rings on the air ;D

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worst.... Fineburg broadcasting live from Fenway :D :D :D Talk about a turd in punch bowl. Trying to pigback on the Graboski (sp?) story, claiming to know the family would have been bad enough (and self-serving) from the studio, but while surrounded by hopeless drunks, it was too weird even for me. ::)

first I Dont think Fineberg is the worst thing out there on the airwaves but......today was not a shining moment when doing a live broadcast from Fenway park on the Red Sox flagship station he asked some visitors from Seattle if they were rooting for the Seahawks.

It was a joke! ::)

wow

Liked wrko today - Finneran and Feinburg both did remotes but didn't kill us with stuff from the scene. We got to hear normal talk radio but heard the fun of the day.

BostonRose (a.k.a. RKO Apologist), ever think that when an alleged joke falls flat it is no longer a joke. It is a botched Mitt Romney, as we like to call 'em. Feinbore almost makes Virgin Smoke a pro.

Doug Mascott is one of the kindest and hardest working individuals in all of New England radio.
You aren't fit to shine his shoes.

Doug also has more knowledge of music and musicians than most of the "jocks" on the air on
commercial stations today. I realize knowledge and talent aren't part of your agenda - having
to be a good soldier for Entercom is your lot in life. Attacking someone as kind and professional
as Doug is much like Don Imus attacking innocent women. Only Don Imus had more honor than you,
he, at least, put his name on it.

Doug doesn't "buy" time on WMWM or WNSH. WNSH, by the way, is commercial radio.

Doug gets an A+ for effort. He and Carmelita have programmed local music longer than anyone else.

Do you get joy from throwing down a hard-working jock who volunteers and helps people?

This thread is about Feinburg, isn't it?
