Finneran

I wonder if anyone else is disappointed in Tom Finneran on WRKO. I thought he was more thoughtful than I'm hearing. I recall he used to fill in for Brudnoy and did a credible job of doing the Brudnoy-type thing.

Now he's little more than a foil for Feinberg and his off the wall statements. It's really become the Feinberg show, and even worse, Finneran is merely the Colmes to Feinberg's Hannity.

I barely listen these days, finneran is a hack, always was, always will be - I don't understand how feinberg can stand working with him. I can't stand it when finneran goes on about how "he's a good good guy" when speaking of a fellow hack.

They both stink. Finneran is doing radio to repair his image and bolster his lobbying.
Feinberg is as predictable as can be. His fake outrage and phony posturing is only outdone by the fact that he digests an opinion from a talking head show on Monday, and vomits it up as his own thought on Tuesday. What a mess of a show, a humorless-drab-snoozefest hosted by a big stinking stiff and a pure politician. When will they yank that show and that station off life support?

Well said. Feinberg offers a caricature of over the top right wing rhetoric. He offers nothing to the show and the two hosts do not engage each other. Boring.

I never listen to Finneran, but last week I stayed over someones house up in southern NH and the little radio in the guest room could only get WRKO so I fell asleep listening to Coast to Coast. Anyway, short story long... I woke up to the sounds of Finneran. It was the most annoying show I've heard on WRKO since the morning Divas were on. I didn't mind Todd Feinberg when he would fill in now and then on his own. He and Finneran have no chemistry. That's not even the annoying part. I can't stand the producer who chimes in with idiot statements. VB and now Sandy, knew when to chime in, and had something good to offer. They added to the show. I wanted to throw that radio out the window when I heard that crap the other day.

Don't throw out the radio,- i.e. Don't shoot the messenger. I agree the chimming in is awful, but it falls in line with the rest of the show. When the show started a few long years ago they had Rich Teeter as a producer. He's the guy who now co-hosts Blute's WCRN show on Fridays. He left WRKO early this year. He is funny and edgy on Blute's show, and while with Finneran added some much needed laughs to WRKO's Morning Snoozefest. I try to listen to T and T but grow weary. As I said predictable Todd and somniferous Tom.
By the way I remember the morning Divas and even that was better than the morning Doze-offs. I ask again when will they take it off life-support?
