Fire, Fire, Fire 104.7

So it seems pirates are now naming themselves lately. I am in Sea Bright and I'm picking up all the caribbean pirates including the all new Fire 104.7. And al of them play commercials promoting club events and local music stores. I am also picking up 103.9, 103.1, 102.3, Gorod FM on 99.9, Elite Radio 97.5, another russian pirate on 95.1, and believe it or not, The Best FM is fighting with The Point in couple of spots.

Well hopefully the new Republican Governor will put a stop to this...you know the liberal, do good, minority oriented, corrupt Dems would never do anything to a minority pirate...they sure shut down the Rock and Country pirates ASAP a few years back..in O and M counties....

and Corzine the Crook is probably financing them...

Maybe that's why they are on most of the day. I remember when Streetz 96 had a morning show for about a month and a half.

I'm not located in New York. What kind of programming is airing on the 95.1 Russian pirate? Music or talk? Can anyone tell if it's produced locally or from another location like Moscow? Does the station have a name? A website perhaps?

This is not the first time Russian programming has aired on 95.1. In 2008, somebody in New York was simulcasting 'New Life Radio' from Chicago (which is leased 16 hours per day from Polnet's AM 1330 WKTA Evanston, IL). Strangely, the unlicensed New York translator at 95.1 FM was promoted on 'New Life Radio's website and over the air. I think that 'New Life Radio' was not aware that the New York signal was not licensed when somebody from New York (Coney Island?) approached 'New Life' about the simulcast.

From 2003-2005 'New Life Radio' (Radio Novaya Zhizn) (Радио Новая Жизнь) aired on a licensed station, AM 620 WSNR Jersey City, NJ/New York, but I think the programming was separate from Chicago's. After that went away, 'Davidzon Radio' moved to WSNR.

I picked it up last night, they are airing music, like a russian pop/rock sound. Gorod FM on 99.9 was also on air
