Fire me Please

Just finished watching "Fire me Please" on CBS
good show.
Loved the wide open mouth of one of the employees that learned she was on the show. Priceless.

I saw it for the first time last night. That show is hilarious. I liked the guy at the juice bar that kept yawning while his boss was talking.

You know, I liked the show at first.
But the funny thing is, when it came on again last night, I turned the channel, because my initial reaction was: "Ok, I saw this already."

And the trouble is, it really is the same joke over and over again: competing contestants go to work for a small shop, make fools of themselves, blah blah blah.

The show doesn't really do anything new. The same joke over and over again. And you know what they say, a joke is only funny the first time.

Ofcorse, in today's times, give or take, it's more like this kind of show would make good for another edition of "Howie Do it!"

I'm glad someone bought this back. I liked this show. I like "Howie Do It" is well.

Yes. I'm glad NBC USA and Global Canada were able to work out a deal on sharing production costs. (etc) of Howie Do it.

As a result, there will be 12 more episodes airing very soon that were produced across Canada, instead of just bieng filmed in Toronto, Canada.

I wonder if they'll swing by New York and do some filming there too?

The downfall/trouble with this style of programming, is that eventually, no matter where they go, everyone knows who "Larry" is!

Hopefully they will be able to find a new creative way to keep the show going when that happens.

I'm surprised that people seem to know what this show is.

I know Jamie Kennedy had a number of crazy characters and I wondered how long it would be before he couldn't get away with using them.

And it was only a matter of time before the "Girls Behaving Badly" got recognized too.

Howie Mandell has a very strong following.
That same following may have learned from something they read on the internet who "Larry" is without even having to watch the show!
(Larry is Howie in discuise)
