First Christmas Flip?

on certain days they would play decent classic music and other days whatever kind of music. maybe the playlist was too loose and needs to be tighten up a bit.

I wouldn't be too surprise if 106.7 goes back to Santa 106.7 after Halloween. Latest 12+ numbers puts 106.7 Talk at 0.9. Horrible numbers for a 100,000 watts station. You know, someone on this board disagree with me and said 106.7 wouldn't dip lower than 1.0 with the Talk format....Ummm, I guess I was right. ;)

Anyhow, start placing your bets for the next format on 106.7. Thankfully, the chatter box will soon be over.

One more thing, 103.7 (Low Power) has better numbers than the mighty 106.7....LMAO!!!!!

This isn't exactly the topic I had in mind when I started this thread, but IMO 106.7 just needs to make a few tweaks to its talker mix. If it's truly aiming for younger demographics, having Boortz and Savage in the lineup is the wrong way to go. Nothing about their messages skews young.

Mancow is OK, but a show with more comedy would be better. Clark Howard is a good fit, since he discusses financial issues that should appeal to younger listeners. Dr. Laura has a following with younger women and she would be a better fit than Boortz or Savage in a workday daypart. I'm on the fence about Laura Ingraham.
