First Christmas Song alert!

A better question is why did the Beach Boys record Santa Claus is Coming to Town in the first place?

to answer BOTH your questions -

(1) the reason WHY WCBS-FM was playing "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" on October 6 is because it's part of a promotion that the station is doing every day now through Thanksgiving - when the song is played in its ENTIRETY (it don't matter by who) - whoever is the 11th caller wins $1,000 (if i was eligible, i might try for it myself!!) :)

(2) Hey, Rico - I LIKE The Beach Boys' version of "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" (or ANY Christmas song they've EVER done!!) :) :)

your loss, baby...;) CBSFM is STILL a GREAT station in 2008 (if you don't believe me, check out the latest PPM's!! They're like a 5.0 12 plus!!)
