First Christmas station of 2008

nd2023

Banned
It's October 13th, and there is already one station playing Christmas music 24/7: WMVN 101.1 St Louis, which flipped last Friday at midnight. The high temperature in St Louis that day was 80 degrees. Will anybody even listen to that station until at least November?

You don't dress up as Santa on Halloween, so why play Christmas music weeks before Halloween?

If memory serves, that station will be flipping to a sports talk format at the first of the year, so I'd guess they're planning this to be their "stunt"... which doesn't make a lot of sense, but there you go. Before halloween is a bit much regardless.... but after 11/1... who knows what could happen!?
