First ever Amber Alert in Maine...

Allegedly the Amber Alert issued earlier today was the first ever in Maine. It happened during the evening commute home, which meant the market's afternoon drive jocks should have been on it. Who went with it, and who dropped the ball? And is Maine's Amber Alert infrastructure set up to reach all forms of media immediately?

I was out last evening around 7 and while scanning the AM band, I caught it on 1380-WMYF in Portsmouth.

An Amber Alert qualifies as EAS material, and could have been automatically issued. Whether or not they actually used it that way, I don't know. ???
