First good catches in quite some time.

What a day it was to be in the middle of nowhere Kansas. Some new catches, indeed.

I was driving from Parsons, KS to Wichita. Phoenix stations were clear for a good 100 mile stretch. Of the few I'm listing, just remember, I didn't have time to positively ID every single station. I'm sure I picked up every station in Phoenix, I heard many many stations talking about Arizona, you would've thought I was in Arizona. Nothing, I mean NOTHING, from Kansas, Oklahoma or Missouri was coming in at this time.

92.3 - KTAR (Glendale/Phoenix) Extremely lucky to hear these calls as they were gone in a few seconds.
93.3 - KDKB (Mesa/Phoenix)
97.5 - KMVA (Dewey-Humboldt/Phoenix)
98.3 - KKFR (Mayer/Phoenix) THIS was astounding. I heard this all the way from Parsons, KS to Wichita. It faded in and out in a few places, other than that, you would've thought it was a blowtorch somewhere in central Kansas.
101.1 - KNRJ (Cordes Lakes/Phoenix) This is what got me started on the entire day. "Classic Hip-Hop in Kansas? Something isn't right here. And at that, the only 'Classic' Hip-Hop station I know on 101.1 is out of Phoenix..." Sure enough. That's what it was.
104.3 - KAJM (Camp Verde/Phoenix)

XHITA 96.5 (Yes, in Kansas)

Things shifted, closer towards Wichita, KS I heard 92.1 - KXBN (Cedar City, UT)

92.5 - KBXI (Park City/Billings, MT)

What I "think" I heard and what I heard might be two different things here, but if my ears were working correctly, I swear I heard 90.7 KPFK out of Los Angeles. I'm not going to count that one, but man, that'd be cool.

I wish I could've heard some AM, AM radio in my truck is terrible, so not much luck there.
