First Howard, Now the Doc

I bought a 1974 Chevy Vega <what a beater of a car> and its companion "parts" car, back in 1980....the guy who sold them to me had license plates that read "Las 1 " and "Las 2".

This guy called them his "Las Vegas"

I got a Pinto station wagon when my first baby was born. It stopped in the middle of the Newport Fwy for no good reason-just stopped. They never could find anything wrong with it. ???

Well, since we're all fessin' up about our vehicular misdemeanors...my first new car was a 1973 Pinto. Ordered it from the factory and had it for about a year and a half...until a woman in an AMC Ambassador ran a red light in front of me in San Luis Obispo. Her car had a steel beam right where the Pinto hit. Situation hopeless.

Thank God the impact was in the front!
