Sometimes threads on here tend to drag on,...the same thing over and over...I'm trying to venture outside of that and see how radio affects the personal decisions you make outside of the studio...so those of you that enjoy needles and ink....Has anyone gotten a "radio" inspired tatoo? You love the airwaves so much that you want everyone out there to know...I got one and it has for great conversation...microphones plastered on thighs..headphones on a shoulder anyone? A true test of your passion for the broadcasting field...Or am I the only one...I'm ready to hear some stories...

this is one of those times when I wish we could post pictures

Is it on your MySpace page I want to see it! (edit... I saw it!)

No ink here... makes it easier for 5-0 to identify you

With the turmoil in the business and the possibility that at any moment you are going to be looking for sunscreen and headed for a beach, I wouldn't put anything on me. The funny one would be a sleeve with every station someone ever worked for in their career, With the last one crossed out when the new station got added.

As an engineering type should I have the Ohms Law circle chart done on my back? Our GM would make me get "did you check the EAS" in reverse lettering on my forehead

haha...mine is on my right wrist...yes..it's on my myspace...its on the inside of my wrist in a crazy font in blocks that says "onair"..flip over..on the front of the wrist is a symbol...it's japanese and it says talent...onair talent...i thought why not put something I'm passionate about instead of the other two...the I-just-got-my-first-tatoo-because-i'm-legal-in-years-so-i-pick random-tat-that-means-nothing...which equals a shooting star..then there's the old ex's initials on the ankle....when I tried to cover it with a Mic and a radio, it was going to take up my whole leg, so the ex will get representation..oh wait, he worked in radio for years, so technically, that's radio too...it's a rose with the lettering "I.P." for his initials with a heart with my initials, EK...i felt it was time to bring radio into my body world..but i'd be intrigued to find someone else that has been stupid enough to do the same thing

I don't know if this qualifies as a "tattoo" per se but an old station manager of ours when I first started out made everyone connected with our show burn a "3" into our arm for finishing third in our target demo one book.
