First local HD newscast in Maine is by ....

WABI-TV 5 in Bangor. Starting today it was hi-def, with a somewhat modified graphics package. They also reported on tower work that will switch them from channel 19 to a vhf channel. I'm guessing it's back to 5 but I don't know and they didn't say. That switch should take place in December.

Nope, 13.
They are going to VHF 13.
