First new AM log of 2020-21 - 10/5/20

A station from Utah marks the first new AM log for me since pre-Covid.

1480 - KHQN UT, Spanish Fork; with meditation lesson mentioning the Buddha, // stream, at 2219 PT 10/5. Faded up over KBMS for a few minutes then went back down. KHQN is operated by the Krishna Temple in the Utah Valley and runs transcendental music and talks. NEW #793, 1000 watts (presumed) at 651 miles.

Lots of very interesting stuff being heard tonight, including KSDO-1130 San Diego overpowering CKWX at times, and 1210 KHKR St. George with ESPN (only 250 watts!)

I'm impressed with KSDO. Off the top of my head, in my west coast travels, I don't remember hearing KSDO anywhere north of So-Cal! Nicely done!
