First of many out the door?

Word is that GM Don Griffin has been booted out of Mainline (formerly Radio One) in Dayton. Will there be a forced mass exodus on David Road? Takeovers often, but not always, send bodies marching.

Wow--that's too bad. I always found him to be one of the good guys in radio--live and let live, and he always seemed to get his staff to deliver. Aren't that many high powered folks in the building.

I know one of the top sales people over there is a former UD student, and I hope he's ok.
Will any formats be shoved out the door along with the personell?

Can't belive Griff got booted...Possibly because of ESPN 1410 on air flubs?
Or they just wanted to put the old man out to pasture and hire younger blood?

I met Don in passing about four years ago...He seemed like a nice guy to me. Sad to see him get the boot out the door.
