First Russ - Now Jagger...

Okay, do you think it is just a coincidence that Russ and Jagger have been complaining on air about the remodel of the Jack studio. Apparently, the new digital board is in and now they have installed mics (for a jockless station). Jagger and Russ have also both said on air that they were told by management that the re-do was in case things change down the road the studio would already be ready. I don't but it. You think you'd remodel the Live studios with humans first. They don't have digital boards and the mics are always crapping out. Jagger did say that in radio "in case we need it in the future" just means "the change is a done deal we're just not talking about it yet."

Keep Movin on 107.5 and bring the Oasis back at 100.3. Hopefully it will be like The Oasis on 106.1 where we heard Level 42, Basia, Pat Metheny and Chick Corea...not frigging Janet Jackson

But that suggestion wouldn't work at CBS because it is the logical choice. Like Russ said to Gavin on air last week "CBS Dallas is a clusterf@&%".

Of course, if they were going to remodel 105.3's studios, wouldn't they need someplace to put them... like in a studio with mic's???

Could something suspicious be going on, sure.
But doesn't it make sense to install mic's just in case you need them at some point down the road?

Exactly. I'm surprised there were not already mics in the Jack studio.

of course there were mikes in the studio. That is the old HOT Studio. I am surprised nobody can read the writing on the wall.

Yep Jack maybe using a walker sooner than most think.

A walker....?

Try a wheelchair... They're gonna roll that baby down the stadium steps, just like O.J.! ;D

Why? It's in the top 10 25-54. KLUV, KLLI, KRLD, and KMVK would seem more likely to go before KJKK or KVIL would. I would guess, based on its demos, and lack of cost in air staff salaries, it probably would be the most, or close to it, profitable station in the cluster.

The station has been on a tacking decline for over a year showing lower highs and lows each book. Never fully recovered from loss of Howard. The controversial nature eliminates the station from many ad buys. Cost of talent could be eliminated, music is cheaper to operate. Revenue follows ratings, if the 12+ numbers are as bad as they look, there has been some serious audience erosion (sp). My guess, when ppm comes out, and that tsl goes away...yikes.

When does PPM start for Dallas?

In about a year from now.
