First Spring trend is out

KOVE still climbing. KMJQ recovering from a slump. KBXX losing listenings...are they going to KRBE?KILT-FM up, regaining its Country dominance as the Cox Country stations slip.Arrow not hitting the mark.La Raza sinking, are listeners heading over to Que Buena, which had a nice gain?KQQK also up a little. Format tweaks helping?La Mera Mera continues its fall into oblivion. Flip it to Urban Gospel or hurry up with the sale, Radio One.

The Box has lost 30% of it's audience in the past 6 months. It may be time to push the panic button.KKBQ is eating KILT's dust. I haven't been to H-town lately. Does KKBQ still spend about 10 minutes of each hour bashing KILT? And stop with that "New 93Q" crud, After 15 years, you're no longer new.Cox needs to inject some life into Country Legends even though I know they won't."Sports Animal" needs to be put out to pasture.

I think KRBE needs to bring back the beat (and maybe open house party with/the mega mix). I like KBXX I just cant see why they are droping. I think its time for Gospel on La MERA or unless Radio one is like Cox, when they kept Z 1067 in San antonio and their ratings are down in the dirt. if AM had better nighttime coverage all around, I would listen more and more. :-[

I wouldn't panic, but I'd sure love to know where the audience is going. I don't see big growth in any of the stations that might be possible destinations for disaffected Box listeners.

If KKBQ continues to fall, Cox should consider moving the Country Legends format to 92.9 and provide a real even-strength alternative to KILT-FM.
"Sports Animal" needs to be put out to pasture.
I would like to see the male 25-54 numbers. Still has to be a disappointment for Clear Channel after 18 months. They will stick with it until they see how well the new morning show does (if they EVER get it on the air.) If the #'s still stink, they will probably make a change, but to what? I wouldn't anticipate a flip for another 18-24 months at the earliest.
