Is that a record for no posts? I guess nobody cares about all the "new" stations since the drop in market rank?

nobody's posting because this market is lame. Cowhead is the only interesting and fresh thing going on in this DMA. Very sad, very sad.

Perhaps people care more about the Holidays and their families than about the radio industry in Tampa Bay.
That being said, I'm also surprised that there haven't been more posts.

Formerly from Tampa Bay (for 45 years) and now in the cold, cold north of Midland, Michigan. Big Winter storm a'comin' tonight.

One possible explanation for the recent lack of activity on the Tampa Bay Board may be, metaphorically speaking, it always becomes very quiet before the "storm".

Frank - I've heard your name bounced around for years associated with Tampa Bay radio. What made you decide to move up North? I'm just curious.

Mark,

I lived in Michigan as a young kid. I have family up here and I wanted to experience the change of seasons. I'm about to experience a BIG change tonight.
Besides ..... how can I become a Snowbird if I live in Florida year round?
I've got great memories of Florida radio and TV. I've worked for some big ones.

Frank, have you noticed how much better AM stations get out up there in Mich? Superior ground conductivity in my opinion...
