Also, Live 105 is playing commercials twice an hour, at the 15 and 45 last the hour. Most commercials are 3 to 5 minutes long. Stream on the Audacy app or Apple Music
WZML sounds pretty good, what I've heard of it. Some surprises every hour, which make it a worthwhile listen.
One observation: is this station run by a religious group? Just found it odd that they played a song, and for some reason the words "damn" & 'hell" were actually bleeped. This came from a song that I have heard many times on the radio without any edits whatsoever (The Offspring - The Kids Aren't Alright).
That minor quibble aside, this station was a good find and I'll be working it into my office rotation.
Internet radio was definitely around before 2001. More experimental with low fi audio because consumer bandwidth wasn't widespread (ah dialup modem tones), but independent broadcasters were making a go of it as early as 1993 if Wikipedia is to be believed.
