I’m playing this song as I type and it sounds great after almost 20 years. 100.3 The Beat, Power 106 and KJLH played this a lot during 2004/2005. I hear it occasionally on KDAY and KJLH. Reminds of my junior high school years.

Side note: It was very successful on the both the Hot 100 and R&B/Hip Hop charts. It was even #1 on the urban radio chart for four weeks in May 2005. It had very early airplay on 100.3 The Beat because they started playing the song during the summer of 2004.
One of my favorites. I first heard it when my friend who was the PD of a Hip Hop station here in Texas, sent it to me.
I never heard the uptempo remix before. I only remember the original version of the track. “Slow Down” reminds me of 6th grade.
