Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie, age 79

Wow. My favorite member of Fleetwood Mac. She always wrote great songs, including "Little Lies" & "Everywhere."

She did the cover art for Kiln House and joined the band for Future Games. This was at a time when Linda McCartney was in Wings.

Seconded on her songs. Our local classic hits station made mention of her passing not long after it broke. Waiting for something on Sirus XM Classic Vinyl.

70s on 7 and 80s on 8 both have a recorded obit before playing a Christine-sung Fleetwood Mac song

She joined Fleetwood Mac during the KILN HOUSE recording sessions and soon became a full time band member. Christine Perfect was her maiden name. She was an outstanding vocalist and I always felt her singing was superior to Stevie Nicks. HEROES ARE HARD TO FIND was one of her great songs and of course DON'T STOP became an anthem. Her contributions to the band were immense. Very sad day...

She made loving fun. Big loss to the world of music in general. Condolences to Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, her ex-husband John, and countless friends in the music industry.

RIP Christine!
