After accepting, rejecting and changing her mind again, Chris Mays has taken the KLLC PD job. Her new staff hopes she's more decisive in the position.

Considering how long she had been at KMTT, I'm sure it took a *lot* of consideration. Chris had been program director, station manager, vice president/general manager and director of operations during her more than fifteen years at The Mountain. I think anybody would have doubts about pulling up roots and moving from one city to another after such a long time.

From all indications, the staff at KMTT under Chris Mays was in constant party mode. If she brings the same atmosphere to Alice, the staff there should quit worrying about her decisiveness and start having some fun.

Not only that - Chris is the one who signed KMTT on the air 15 years ago. Her concept along with backing from a tiny radio group known as Entercom (before they went public). It's been her baby from day one. So the offer had to be REALLY good.

While not an ex-KMTT'er, I can vouch for that being the truth.

Chris is tough but fair - and definitely knows how to treat her staff well.
