Really have gotten hooked on HGTV, DIY, & FLN. Sarah Richardson must be the most beautiful, articulate, and interesting host of this genre. Aside from Sarah having star qualities, on the other side of the spectrum are these "organization" type shows. Seems really to be a stretch finding people who have clutter and don't know what to do. They have to call in "experts" to show them how to organize. These poor souls have clutter up to their eyeballs and the organizational pro sets up a place for everything. The most outrageous of these shows is Clean Sweep. Do people really need an "expert" to tell them that not being able to walk into a room due to the clutter is a bad thing? Do they really need an "expert" to show them how to throw things away and create a place for everything? Then again, there always is Sarah thank goodness!

I don't have FLN where I'm at, but I've seen Clean Sweep a few times on TLC and it's amazing the different situations the show finds. Most of them have extra stuff and no extra space, or some might just be lazy. There are a few out there that don't get on a reality show who have real issues with accumulating more and more stuff. TLC did a special 1 night about a woman who has a real hoarding complex. I didn't get to watch so I'm not sure if she was finally able to part with any of her things or if she sought some kind of medical/mental health help. One older man in Dallas a while back was actually found dead in a storage shed crammed full of stuff he'd collected over the years. His children had his wife moved out of their house and the house was actually deemed a fire hazard and torn down. The man wouldn't leave the property and was extremely sad to lose the things in the house when it was razed. His wife and kids later begged him to come out of the storage shed and he wouldn't.
