Florence 100.1 and 100.5 to swap formats?

According to Radio Insight and fccdata.org the call letters for 100.1 WWFN and 100.5 WQPD are swaping dial positions ar the end of the month. Does that mean Q 100.5 moves to 100.1 and vise versa.

Since 100.5 goes by Q 100.5 and its calls are WQPD, I would assume its format will move to 100.1 in some form. Since the PD is for pee dee. now

100.5 WQPD started out as Hot AC in 2017 but segued to AC. The ratings never got any better and they moved back to Hot AC. They canned Bob & Sheri a while back and went with The Bert Show in mornings.

As for Star, they moved to 97.1 a while back with Hot AC while Adult Hits Frank FM moved to 93.7.

I hadn't kept up. All I remember was hearing softer and older songs in the car on the way to the beach.

Forgot about that.

I got a new car (actually it's 20 years old but new to me). Passing the WQPD tower didn't affect WEBK (91.1, oldies) at all.

Actually, in Marion WEBK didn't have interference even from WLGI 90.9 but I was amazed to discover I was getting interference from WYFG Gaffney (BBN).

I listened to 100.1 for a few minutes. There was one of those station IDs followed by some listener saying it was her favorite station. However, I have to wonder if the person saying that wasn't referring to a specific station. I think I also heard, "Hello, I'm Taylor Swift".
