Does anybody know what station this was? I have an early 90's bumper sticker from it, but have never been able to identify where it's from.

The sticker is red/yellowon dark blue FLORIDA'S OUTBACK Y-105FM MUSIC RULES

Is it possibly WYOC 104.9 High Springs/Gainesville?

Thanks!

Florida's outback? Isn't that the Sebring area, AKA Florida's heartland ?

WYMR Sebring (ex-WCAC, now WWLL)

ROTFL....You give the braindead that ran WYOC too much credit...They only did Westwood One/Unistar/Transtar "Oldies Channel" on that station, and it was horrible to say the least, how they executed it. The local drop-ins were low fidelity.

You are correct, my friend...The "Y-105" was WYMR in Sebring, first 105.5, then 105.7...Had been WCAC prior, and then became WWLL ("Wheels" with Rock AC, and is now a "Lite AC"). Jacor owned it for a while, I think they only owned it to bump it up to 105.7 so that they could upgrade 105.5 in New Port Richey (don't quote me, this is an assumption)...They also simulcast the "Y" on WJCM AM (960, then 1050) in Sebring, another station they bought to downgrade so they could upgrade WFLA...The Sebring-ites I guess were so excited that Randy M & Co. owned them (if only for deprecating purposes), that they extolled "A Jacor Station" on their TOH ID.
