Another sad displacement....Floyd is a true pro and great talent.
 
I met Floyd once. He was a very nice guy.
I think he is a perfect fit for an oldies format...Perfect sense of humor and smooth delivery.
I wish him the very best of luck.

He was doing oldies at DRC-FM before joining WWYZ when they flipped to country in 1988.
 
Actually before YZ he was on the AC format at DRC, right before they went Oldies .

I met Floyd when he was a teacher at New England Broadcasting Institute in Bloomfield run by the Late Dick Korsen.

Before that he was on KC101.

AHHH the memories!!
