FLUFF PIECE ON FREE FM'S OPIE & ANTHONY

Just in case you missed this fluff piece on O&A. Didn't the writer of this column work with O&A at WNEW-FM? Should the Post put a disclaimer after the article?

http://www.nypost.com/entertainment/radio_daze_entertainment_john_mainelli.htm

He was an "in-house consultant" at WNEW for all of 60 days before Sex for Sam III. Not like he was Jeremy Coleman or something.

And he's a columnist; I don't think a disclaimer is needed for opinionated pieces.

"Earthy" Jim Norton?

Manelli doesn;t even really like O and A. They are always complaining how he favors Stern. I guess you aren't a fan if you are nitpicking a nice article about a talent filled show. Perhaps YOUR post should have had a disclaimer? :)

Huh? O&A and Mainelli like each other. It's the Post on a whole that O&A have the problem with.

This was a pretty good article all the way around, no disclaimer needed. Now if you want to argue a Disclaimer should come with the NY Post as a whole I agree with you there, but this is probably the most well written article and the article that makes the most sense of anything that has appeared in the Post in a very long time.

I find Mainelli is pro O&A and anti Stern. I believe Mainelli should pass on writing about O&A. If he does write about O&A, he should add a disclaimer. Just like when the Post writes about FOX TV. They mention the Post is owned by the same company. Just my two cents.

Just because a columnist has opinions doesn't mean he has to have a disclaimer. Ever read Mushnick's stuff? Yikes.
