Fly 92.3 Vs. Kiss-FM 102.3

We'll It's been a while since the last thread on the competitions between Poughkeepsie's Kiss-FM Vs. K-104 and WBPM Vs. WPDH & WDST, I'm just going through the Arbitrends that in Albany in the second part of the ratings, WFLY Vs. WKKF. They are still having a CHR/Pop competition in the ratings, "Fly 92.3" did well and "Kiss-FM 102.3" is still down, I guess Albany did not support two CHR stations, kinda like the three rock stations argument in New York City did not support like "K-Rock", Q-104 and WRXP. Are they still competing with these two top 40 stations between WFLY and WKKF?

WGNA is still the big winner with the highest overall numbers and it's still a country music station and it's still #1 in the trends.

What's going to happen with the PPM's? I don't see it happening yet!
 
My 2 cents. There is no longer any competiton between Kiss and Fly. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Kiss doesn't change formats by the years end.

Fly is 24 hours LIVE 95 % of the time, Kiss is Live 5% now. The only show that is Live is DJ Thomas, god love her. She sooo deserves better. Being from NYC, I see her going home.

Kiss music is so-so at best. Fly just better overall, in terms of Top 40.

As far as morning shows ar concerned, Kiss can't hold a candle to Fly.

Kiss' days are numbered.
 
I agree. WFLY is so much more local... Love the FLY Morning Rush... and FLY is simply so much more fun and high-energy throughout the day... I have always thought that the staff at FLY 92 has done a great job and they continue to do so. Keep up the good work FLY!
 
Get ready to go KOOOOKIE! Those fun luvvin' Morrell kids and their dogs are getting their own radio show on FLY92! What makes it so kooookie is that we've been discussing them getting a show on WROW! Guess the sales department at Albany Broadcasting is too busy reading radio-info. We're giving them ideas.

KissFm will retaliate by giving DJ Thommasses WIG its own show in AM drive. ;)
