Fly 92.9 new imaging voice

I have noticed over the last week that Fly 92.9 has changed their male voice(The one they've used since the beginning not John O'Hurley)in their imaging. It sounds like the same guy that does the imaging for 97.3 The Sound in Cincy. I think it gives the station a younger sounding voice.

Voice talent does not "make jokes"... they read what the station writes for them to say.

You mean they got rid of the guy who sounded like he was always on drugs? Always making jokes. :D

Voice imaging is good but cannot...and will not repleace live personalities.

The music on Fly is good...but is still just as dull and mesmerizingly boorish.

IN short..no jocks...no magic!

They do at least have Danielle on Noon-6 PM...I think she does a great job...and she's really nice(No, I don't work for Mainline!).
Why does Mainline not put anyone else on?...Ask their OM Steve Weed, or whomever is the GM down there. I'm guessing Danielle will be the only on-air personality for the foreseeable future. Remember, Liberty, Mainline's other Adult Hits station, only has a Morning jock and that's it. Mainline is probably like every other radio company-or company period-and is worried only about the bottom line and less overhead.
I agree that live on-air personalities can't be replaced by imaging, but this is Adult Hits we're talking about. At least Fly has one on-air personality...The Eagle has ZERO(Sorry Jason!). :'(

Hi, Alans:

No offense taken. You just have to understand that, as much as you (or others) might like to see jocks on Eagle, its' main selling point (proven through research) is that it has no DJ's. That's why people like us.

And, despite the initial hit we took from Fly, the station has rebounded nicely. We're well within where we expected to be, ratings-wise, given the signal challenge we have.
