Fly 92.9 turns three today

Just thought i'd pass along that Fly 92.9 has been on the air for three years now(November 2, 2007 was a Friday BTW). First three songs were:
STEVE MILLER BAND-Fly Like An Eagle
SUGAR RAY-Fly(Remix)
BRYAN ADAMS-Summer of '69
I thought the countdown clock leading into Fly was well done...I enjoyed Pink Floyd's "On The Run" that played in the background.
 
It's really hard to get excited about someone else's i-Pod, especially when it's stocked with songs you don't like. One jock doing a couple of breaks an hour during mid-day-afternoon doesn't get anyone pumped up either. Never-the-less, let's all follow the bouncing ball and sing "Happy Birthday". Cut the cake, please...
 
It could sound worse....It could have a bunch of DJs gabbing all the time (Mix 1077) or (Lite 999). I rather enjoy not having to hear DJs talk about the same crap over and over all the time. Mornings with no talk is good as long as the music is filled with variety. FLY sounds good on line, but the girl in the morning doing traffic is horrible, Danielle is getting better but still needs to learn more about the artist. She gives a lot of wrong information...another reason no DJs is good!

Doodical, I couldn't agree with you more on the Traffic Girl, Christina...she has a very strange voice...perhaps that's why they chose her? I'm not a fan of the news woman, Karen Chase, either. It always sounds like she's whispering.
I've never heard Danielle give wrong info on artists but I don't listen as much as I used to. Danielle is good at what she does otherwise. Nice girl too!
