"If you want to increase your odds of actually getting *on* the radio, stop reporting rumors"..I don't hear a station calling me..NOR am I interested unless I receive a sweet offer..My business is FANTASTIC!! :) By the way, my source was wrong, it was not Fly, another station, so I apologize...

Timmy I mean Mr. Weekend...You are actually kinda right. Fly will make some sort of announcment but my source said The Edge will be there too..hmmm. Wonder why? Oh and it's 11 at Fresno's FYI
 
The meeting at Fresno's is supposed to be a routine staff meeting, maybe they are looking for a replacement for Andy Listing, who is leaving this week. As far as Fly Mornings go, the response hasnt been overwhelming and there still looking for a morning show. So we just have to sit back and wait and see what happens there.
 
Oh duh! How would we have missed that. Of course the ENTIRE STAFF is gathering to figure out what to do now that they are loosing the areas premiere night jock. I don't doubt they are assembling to discuss a suitable replacement for Mr. Listing. Maybe...just maybe it'll Brian, Ellen, and Big Ray. That would do the trick.I'm standing by the reporter on this one. Fly and Edge press conference.Who is Andy Listing anyhow?
 
Would you feel better if I changed my "Reporter" name to "Timmy Weekend", I'm sure the Owner of AMS Entertainment, would love the publicity. I would be happy too if the moderators on this lovely board would oblige...THEN I would call Timmy Weekend and let him know, he'll get a "chuckle" out of it..As I AM.If this happens, then ALL of you would have to "Come out of the closet"..Pardon the analogy.

BEING FROM BERNE I HAPPEN TO KNOW A FEW THINGS AND FIRST OFF TOMMY IS RIGHT. THERE IS A PRESS CONFERENCE TO BE HELD ANNOUNCING THE NEW FLY 92 MORNING SHOW AND IT WILL BE AT 11AM AT THE WOLF ROAD DENNY'S. THEY RENTED OUT THE WHOLE PLACE. NICE TOUCH IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF. INFINITY WASTES NO MONEY WHEN IT COMES TO PRESS CONFERENCES. I REMEMBER THIS ONE TIME WHEN THEY HELD A PRESS CONFERNECE...OH JEEZ, IT MUST HAVE BEEN AT LEAST 12 YEARS AGO...MAYBE 17. ANYWAY, THEY WERE SETTING UP THIS BIG COFERENCE AT THE OLD DQ ON ROUTE 50 IN SCOTIA (I JUST LOVE THEIR BLIZZARDS. M&M'S IS MY FAVORITE. WITH THE VANILLA/CHOCOLATE TWIST. YUMM. OH AND IF THEY HAVE THE PEANUT M&M'S...FORGET IT. HEAVEN). WHERE THE HELL WAS I? AHHH, THE PRESS CONFERENCE 24 YEARS AGO WITH SPECIAL GUEST DICK CHRISTIE (HE PLAYED THE FATHER ON "SMALL WONDER". HE WAS HUGE AT THE TIME.) AND THEY WERE ANNOUNCING "JAMMIN" JIM STEELE AND LUCIE ST. JAMES TO TAKE OVER MORNINGS AT WGFM. THEY HAD THIS PLACE SET UP WHERE THE CHAMPAGENE WAS FLOWING AND THE MUSIC WAS ROCKING. IT WAS A REAL HIGH OLD TIME. MET MY FIRST GIRLFRIEND THERE. SHE WAS SPECIAL. SHERRRY WAS HER NAME. THOSE HAZEL EYES AND AUBURN HIGHLIGHTS IN HER HAIR. I BOUGHT HER A DQ DOG AND HER DRESS FELL TO THE GROUND. BOY I MISS SHERRY. SHE NEVER GOT ALONG WITH MY BROTHER SO THINGS HAD TO END RIGHT THERE. "BRO'S BEFORE HO'S", THEY ALWAYS SAY. SO THEY ANNOUNCE JIM AND LUCIE AS THE NEXT BIG THING AND FROM THEN ON IT WAS HISTORY. THEY FIRED JIM THE NEXT WEEK. LUCIE STUCK AROUND BUT IT WAS STILL A GREAT PRESS CONFERENCE. HOPING FOR SOMETHING SIMILAR THIS TIME AND BOY I LOVE DENNY'S. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY STILL SERVE BREAKFAST AT 11? MOONS OVER MY HAMMY IS MY FAVORITE. I ALWAYS GET THE GRITS INSTEAD OF THE HASH BROWNS. BACK TO BUSINESS. MY SOURCES TELL ME THAT THE MORNING SHOW IS GOING TO CONSIST OF RIC MITCHELL AND DUSTY RHODES FROM WONG ON ONEIDA. SHOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION AND THE KIDS SHOULD JUST LOVE IT. HE'S HIP, HE'S IN THE KNOW AND A COMEDIC GENIUS. ALL I KNOW IS THAT STARTING MONDAY MY MORNING DIAL IS SET TO 92.3 AND WILL NEVER CHANGE. UNLESS THEY GET RID OF RIC WHICH WOULD BE JUST PUERILE. I DON'T EVEN WANT TO THINK. HAS ANYBODY HEARD ANYTHING NEW ABOUT A NEW COUNTRY STATION COMING TO THE MARKET? WE CERTAINLY NEED THAT. IS FLY 92 CHANGING FORMAT? OH, IMAGINE THAT? TO GO ALONG WITH THE BIG MORNING SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT A WHOLE NEW FORMAT? THAT WOULD BE BRILLIANT. ALL THIS TALK OF THE DQ HAS GOT ME HUNGRY SO I AM HEADING OVER THERE IN MY ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY HYBRID. 412 MILES TO THE GALLON. NICE. TAKE CARE CAPITAL REGION AND STUDY THE CHURCH OF RIC MITCHELL.
