FLY 929: Flying in the ratings?

Now, Jammin'...you know you can't supply numbers on this board.

That having been said, they're not "killing" in the ratings, but they are doing what they set out to do...and that's drive up the middle between Mix and Lite.

Lite is completely in the toilet...

Mix is still ahead.

But, both stations have suffered major damage from Fly's insurgency.

That's about all I can say without quoting numbers...

With Lite doing bad I wonder if that's why they "rebranded" the station as "99.9 Lite FM".
Mix seems headed for Adult CHR land as i've been discussing...and it's about time they sound more like a Q102/Cincy or Mix 107.9/Columbus.
Fly seems to be loading up on the 80s tunes lately...within one hour today I heard Ratt's "Round and Round", Pet Shop Boys "West End Girls", and Kim Carnes "Bette Davis Eyes". I still see Adult Hits and Classic Hits taking over the 80s soon, just as most Classic Hits/Oldies stations took over the 70s from Hot AC stations in 2000-2001. Glad to see Fly doing well as I listen to them quite often and the one station my wife and I can agree on listening to!
Thanks again for the heads-up on where Fly stands Onewhoknows! Very much appreciated!
