fm antenna tunning

Hello,

Long time ago i found a table that help to tune an fm antenna. for example, if it was 99.5 the antenna needed to be 65 inches long. somthing like that. if someone has a link or something that will help me it will be great.

thanks!

You can go to the Radio Brandy Part 15 FM site, it has few calculators available for cutting antennas. 65 inch's seems to be closer to 5/8 wave but still a bit long. Our elements at 98.3 are right around 28". The 5/8 wave antenna we used for KKTO FM had elements around 58" long at 99mhz.

Micro & Part 15 FM is here.

Take the number 2804 divide by freq in Mhz equals antenna length in inches. That's for a quarter wave.

2804 divide by 93.1 equals 30.1 inches
