Pensacola/Fort Walton FM Band opening

Hello all. 2/13 9:40 AM CST VHF/FM band opening here in Florida. Was listening to our local on 107.5 and heard a rock format station unfamiliar. Tuning across the band hearing some neat stuff. If you have anything for VHF try it right now, before it's gone! Could barely get our local station.

The only rock station on 107.5 in the vicinity of the Gulf coast is KGLK/Houston. If you noted what songs you heard, it would be easy to cross-reference with what they played.

Thank you Huff! Didn't hear long enough to determine that. Been listening to 106.1 for quite awhile. It's a fringe frequency here. Heard an Urban music format, a weak station playing "All night long" Lionel Richie, and now a country format. Got a positive id as "South 106.1" WSTH Alexandria City,AL 86 kw 994 ft above ground. Pretty wild stuff!
Just using whip antenna. Tecsun PL-880.
Also lost power for a second. Don't know what's going on. We had a threat of a tornado. None here, but there was one in Pensacola reported. Heavy rain earlier this morning. Also heard an ad for "Opa-Locka Ford. " Also I-85 in GA mentioned.
