FM Frequency of the Week - 100.7 MHz

What do you all get on 100.7 FM?

Here in Vermilion, OH I get local WMMS/Cleveland with a Rock format which also broadcasts the Cleveland Indians and Browns games. When there is strong cross-lake tropo, CKUE-2 from Windsor, ON (simulcast of CKUE 95.1 from Chatham, ON) will cause interference.

Monroe, WA
KKWF Seattle, WA (Country)

Pacific Beach, WA
Weak KKWF mixed with KPPT Depoe Bay, OR (Classic Hits, 100.7 Boss FM)

Yakima, WA
Poor to fair signal of KHSS Athena, OR (Catholic/Religious)

Portland, OR
NOTHING - except for maybe KKWF in tropo. Where I usually go in Portland (either East Portland or Gresham) I don't get KQRZ-LP.

Depending on where I'm at in Lake County Indiana, I can either pick up a weak signal from WRXQ Coal City/Joliet, IL, or WBYT Elkhart/South Bend, Indiana. On rare occasion, I can get WKKV Racine/Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In northern VA,

I get Baltimore area's weak WZBA "The Bay" classic rock and sometimes WQPO from Harrisonburg, VA with a top 40 format. Tropo receptions includes WZXL from Atlantic City, NJ area and WRVA Greenville, NC /Raleigh area, and once, WLEV Allentown, PA.

Manistee, MI:
Usually either one of these two stations:
WOBE Crystal Falls, MI (CHR)
WKKV Racine, WI (Urban)
They split the frequency pretty much equally, even though it's still kind of hard to tell which station is which (WOBE used to be oldies).

100.7 was the original home of what is now WSRJ Honor before it moved to 105.5 and upgraded after WHTS moved south. Local WCUZ Bear Lake has an application to move there from 100.1 and upgrade. I have received WITL Lansing a couple of times.

Crainbebo, KQRP-LP moved to 100.7 about a week ago having previously been on 101.5. Too much interference from KFLY Corvallis on 101.5 so they moved it. Try it again next time you're down, it is hit and miss on the east side.

"Portland, OR
NOTHING - except for maybe KKWF in tropo. Where I usually go in Portland (either East Portland or Gresham) I don't get KQRZ-LP."

Whitmore Lake, MI: WITL Lansing dominates. Very difficult to receive anything else - even during tropo - unless you head toward Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, when CKUE-1 Windsor ON starts to interfere.

Bay City, MI: WITL usually is quite listenable despite locals on 100.5 and 100.9. If WITL isn't there then WWTH Oscoda MI is.
