FM Frequency of the Week - 101.5 MHz

Nothing here, but go a little south of Portland and you can get KFLY Corvallis, OR and in some of the outer areas of the Metro Portland area, KPLZ Seattle.
 
Actually W7PAT, I can get KFLY in most of the Eastern suburbs of Portland. KPLZ fades out near Castle Rock/Toledo WA, and I only heard 92.9 KISM from my area when I was in Portland in September. I've heard KFLY clear up to Longview, but it was weak.

I am in Beaverton, only a few miles from the transmitter sites for Portland area FM's so it is hard to DX anything at my location. When I lived in East Portland, I could get KUBE, KMPS, KING, KKWF, KPLZ, and KZOK. I doubt I could anymore with all of the new translators and stations on those frequencies now. I have never heard KISM in Portland.
It all depends on conditions...I have heard KPLZ south of Portland too, but not for a long time. There is also a translator in the Longview area now on 101.5.
 
98.1 (except for maybe some KPPK splatter) and 100.7 are still COMPLETELY open for Tropo or E-skip DX in Portland. 93.3 was a weak KKNU where I was, 94.1 KPDQ splatter, 101.5 KFLY, and 102.5 was the Calvary Chapel translator in Elwood, OR (SE of the metro area).
