FM Frequency of the Week - 101.9 MHz

From Coffeyville, KS - If ANYTHING it's KMXF/Fayetteville, AR with an occasional visit from KTST/Oklahoma City.

I thought you were in Parsons? Did you move? You should be in the shadow of KGGF/690 and KKRK/98.9 now.

Yes I did move. Attending college here now. And very correct. I listened to 99.1 the Ticket when I still lived in Parsons. Let's just say that doesn't happen anymore. lol

In Harvest, AL (outside of Huntsville) we're out of luck at this gets static from the IBOC of local WDRM (102.1).

This is certainly not a local station ( DX )

KNTY serving the Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto market

Just a hint of country music is heard ( very, very difficult catch ). Music was in the mud / static! I expected better with 47,000 watts, especially since the transmitter is close to V101's transmitter location, and roughly the same height above sea level. Might be a hill directly in the way of the path to my specific location, IDK

121 miles distance

Here in Altamonte it's WQMP all the time. They recently flipped to FM 101.9 an alternative format and I love it. When I lived in Palm bay I would get 101.9 from southwest FL at times as well.

WWGR is the dominant one in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale too, but once in a while WJHM Daytona Beach/Orlando pops up,
and at home W270AD with public-radio news sometimes makes it in.
We have a pirate or two as well on 101.9.
