Mankato, MN

A faint K270DZ New Ulm
Translator of KTIS 98.5 Minneapolis
Contemporary Christian

(We have a translator in Mankato on 94.9)

South Mississippi:

WLMG New Orleans - Magic 101.9, Better Music for a Better Workday (adult contemporary)
next closest station is W270CZ Bay Springs, MS - translates 1570 WIZK "Classic Country K-101"

W270CS Gulfport, MS operated briefly in 2021-2022 translating WWOZ New Orleans. Its license was deleted in June 2022 due to them using temporary facilities. WLMG comes in well in Gulfport, so W270CS wouldn't have had much coverage.

Central Kansas:
Depending on the day, a fair to faint KKQY/Hill City

North Iowa:
Fair reception from KNWS-FM/Waterloo; occasionally, weak reception of K270BZ/Albert Lea will pop in from time to time

W270DA, which translates WXTG 1490 in Hampton, VA, can be heard on parts of the Hampton Roads Peninsula as well as parts of the Southside. However, WIKS 101.9 Kiss FM out of New Bern, NC, has 100,000 watts and its Urban Contemporary format often overpowers the Urban Oldies featured on the 175-watt W270DA.

Local 'T-102' is the occupant. They're a mix of, I guess, Hot AC / CHR.
We were up in Shenandoah Heights looking for the now-dark WMBT 1530 studios and found there were two towers. The first one we stopped at looked like half oil-well / half guided missle. The guy at the car radio dial said, 'That's gotta be WAVT. They're coming in at like nine places on the dial.'
We're far enough from both Baltimore and NYC to have FM stations on some frequencies shared by both of those markets, with 101.9 and 102.7 being two examples. There are no VHF TV stations out our way. But NYC and Balt-DC share THOSE, too .... channels 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13.
