Re boiseengineer: KORD 102.7 has a good range. Have heard them up in Ellensburg, and Tr would probably make it to Boise more than one occasion. Have you heard any Yakima FMs i.e. KFFM 107.3, KATS 94.5, etc.? I've heard KDNA 91.9 and KATS in Bothell, and heard KFFM in Auburn one week ago mixing with CHBE-BC.
Re: BobOnTheJob the Yakima area is a very good DXing place for FM and AM! 104.7 and 104.9 are good frequencies for distant FMs. 104.7 regularly pulls in KCMB La Grande, OR at 150mi and sometimes KKRV Wenatchee, WA as well. 104.9 can have KNLX Prineville, OR, 150 mi+ and sometimes K285FN Kennewick, WA as well. AM is great to DX here, lots of E and SE activity here, and lots of low-powered stuff to catch. I logged WWL 870 here in October, and also heard a full TOH ID for KVNS 1700 Brownsville, TX just after SUNSET! The frequencies occupied in Seattle aren't as occupied 120 mi SE. For example, I get KMBX 950 Helena, MT with KJR in a null in the evenings.
