FM Frequency of the Week: 103.7

Hartland, VT:

WKNE Keene, NH, Hot AC.

Meriden, CT:

W279EK Middletown, translator for WMRD (1150), with an old-fashioned "variety" format.

Wilmington Delaware

I'm in between 2 strong Class B stations, one to my SW and the other to my SE -

WXCY - Havre De Grace MD with Country Music. It is the closer of the 2 stations but has a directional signal to the N making the signal not that strong. Forever Media (the owners) realize this and put a LPFM on 96.9 in Wilmington to improve the signal here.

WMGM - Atlantic City NJ with Classic/Modern Rock Music. It covers all of S Jersey but also has a directional signal to protect WXCY. In my apartment as I walk around the stations keep flipping back and forth so I'm definitely in the middle of their coverage areas.

East Tennessee: Nada-iBoc from WIMZ 103.5
Retro/other: Dayton, OH area. At various times I've caught WFIU, Bloomington, IN, WHZR, Royal Center, IN and WCKY-FM, Pemberville, OH, which has a pretty good signal in the western side of Ohio but seems to miss rimshotting Toledo. (WCKY AM is in Cincinnati)

Nutley, NJ Hash from WKTU
When Iboc was off, I've received WMGM Atlantic City, NJ and WEEI from Westerly, RI that would cut in. Much closer WNNJ Newton, NJ I have to really try for, given the disadvantage of the topography blocking most of the signal this way

Tyler, TX:

A dogfight between KVIL "Alt 103.7" (DFW) and classic country translator K279CI Longview, relaying KKUS Tyler.

Clifton, New Jersey

I usually get HD hash from 103.5 WKTU Lake Success, NY. However, I am able to receive WNNJ Newton, NJ in a few spots. I have been able to receive WVEI-FM Westerly, RI and WMGM Atlantic City, NJ during tropo.

Central Kentucky:

WFRT Frankfort with "Passport Radio" on one of two frequencies. The other is WKYL Lawrenceburg at 102.1
One of my favorites.
