FM Frequency of the Week - 105.1 MHz

What do you all get on 105.1 FM?

Here in Vermilion, OH it is mostly IBOC from WCLV 104.9 but if anything it's WMGC/Detroit with a varying signal.

105.1 here is IBOC from KCMS.

Yakima, WA brings splatter from KONA 105.3.

Portland, OR-KRSK 105.1 (Hot AC, The Buzz).

-crainbebo

From Coldwater, MI-

WQHK- Huntertown, IN- (Fort Wayne) Country- K105
WMGC- Detroit, MI- AC
WOJO- Evanston, IL- Spanish

And coming soon..
W286AU- Allegan, MI- (CP for a move to Kalamazoo with 250 watts from 59 meters)

WBZY "El Petron" 105.3 bleedover. Sometimes I can catch 105.1 WNGA from Helen,Georgia

From Baldwin County, AL: Country Legends WPFL, Century, FL. That's a small town north of Pensacola, near the AL line and the towns of Century and Atmore. It's not a particularly strong signal anywhere that matters, but strong enough to blot out everything else.

On particularly rare days I've heard Q 105 out of Jackson, but that doesn't happen often.

Funny you should mention "El Patron" in Atlanta. In Huntsville, we get a weak signal from WQSB in Albertville. The signal used to be much stronger but they downgraded a few years back so the station that is now "El Patron" could move from 105.5 to 105.3 to target Atlanta.

Interesting how such events in radio-world can affect markets that are over 200 miles apart.....

From NW Indiana I get WOJO Evanston/Chicago. Despite 105.3 up in the Milwaukee area, WOJO can be heard in some neighborhoods on the south side of Milwaukee with little static.

In Central VA a weak but listenable WAVA.

Some nights I can also get WTGD Harrisonburg, VA if the Yagi is facing the right direction.

Here in Warminster PA(Philadelphia area), 105.1 is usually splatter from local 105.3 WDAS. However, in tropo, I have gotten
New York(forget what the calls are) or WIOV Ephrata PA(near Reading) on 105.1.
