FM Frequency of the Week - 106.3 MHz

What do you all get on 106.3 FM? Here in Vermilion, OH it is mostly IBlock hash from WHLK 106.5/Cleveland, OH. With the Tecsun PL-390 I can null out the hash enough to hear CHKS/Sarnia, ON 'K106.3'

Here in suburban Rochester NY, it's the CJBC (Radio-Canada, French-language) relay from Peterborough, Ontario most of the time. I can also sometimes hear WMCR-FM from Oneida, east of Syracuse.

In Bothell/Bellevue, WA I usually get KBKS splatter. However I have also gotten KLOO Corvallis, OR [Classic Rock] and KAGM Albuquerque, NM [Power 106] via E Skip.

In Yakima, WA I only get splatter from KEGX Richland [65 mi SE].

In Pacific Beach, WA this usually is blank but I did get KLOO Corvallis via Tropo [about 200 mi SE].

In Portland, OR it's KLOO again.

PS: I now have a personal title: DXless in Seattle. Trying to be a little funny here :D :D

In Gary, IN, I'm in the Grade A contour of WSRB Lansing, IL. That station is heard in the near south suburbs of Chicagoland.

In northern VA, I hardly get anything except a very weak WCEM Easton, MD, on the east side of the Chespeake Bay. I once heard a 106.3 Atlantic City, NJ many years ago, before it moved to 106.5.

Here in Warminster PA(Philly 'burbs), it's splatter from local 106.1 WISX. In tropo, I have
heard WHCY in Blairstown NJ at times, and WKOE from Ocean City NJ(before they moved
to 106.5 and Bass River Twp. as WBBO).

KLOO, weak enough as to be practically unlistenable, even on the F1HD. KFBW and KLTH's sidebands pretty much bury it.

From Coldwater, MI-

WHPP- Columbia City, IN (Fort Wayne)- Hip-hop- Click Hop
WUBU- South Bend, IN- Urban AC
WGLM- Lakeview, MI- AC- M106.3
WBUK- Ottawa, OH- Classic Rock- The Fox
