FM Frequency of the Week: 107.1

East Tennessee: The adjacent channels are pretty full, so not much on 107.1. We have WLNU (LPFM) Lenoir City as a weak signal.

Retro/other: Dayton, Ohio area: Mostly WKFS, Milford (Cincinnati) Ohio; sometimes WDOH, Delphos OH or WJYD, Circleville OH.

At my location in Chicago's far northwest suburbs 107.1 is a W296DA, A translator for WNVR (1030) 5 miles away from me. Signal is good. Before this translator signed on, 107.1 was usually a very weak WSPY-FM from Kendall county, about 45 miles south-southwest of where I am.

Hartland, VT:

WZLF Bellows Falls, VT, "The Wolf". The country station simulcasts on WXLF 95.3 Hartford, VT, which is the stronger signal of the two at this location.

Northeast NJ: A mix of WXPK Briarcliff Manor, NY and WWZY from Long Branch, NJ. WXPK is the dominant signal

Mankato, MN
K296ER Mankato Religious (Spanish normally but also has English programming on it)
translator of KJLY Blue Earth

107.1 has been interesting lately, as my local, KRQN, has been off the air. (I'm rooting for a format change or change in ownership.) In its place, I've heard WPVL Platteville, WI, KNWI Osceola, IA, and one other signal that I haven't been able to identify.

Central Kansas:
Open frequency

North Iowa:
Other than once instance of KNWI/Osceola after their transmitter upgrade late last year, I have yet to receive anything else on this frequency (including KRQN/Vinton or KTMY/Coon Rapids).
