FM Frequency of the Week 2018-19: 103.3

Up the dial to the next traditional Class B/C frequency. What do you or did you get on 103.3?

East Tennessee: I’ve never caught anything with WIMZ’s iBoc from next door on 103.5

Retro/other: Dayton, OH area would often be a tossup between WTCR in Huntington and WOLT, Indianapolis. Now, translators and WMLX, St. Marys OH add to the clutter. North of Dayton in West Central Ohio, WKFR, Battle Creek, MI was a frequent visitor. Also caught WKFR in Lafayette IN over Indianapolis.

In the near north Chicago suburbs 103.3 is all hash from WPNA and WKSC both right next door.

From Baldwin County, Alabama, near the Gulf of Mexico:

W277CS - one half of a pair of translators airing the locally owned and operated "Goforth" religious talk format. 250 watts at 843 feet from about 18 miles to my NW.

About the only real DX target I hear with any regularity is WMXS Montgomery, with their "soft rock" format. That's about 160 miles to my NNE.

Mason City, IA:
A very weak pickup of K277DM (KCHA-AM’s trslr) from Charles City that often fights with KAZR/Pella

Central KS:
Living on a hill can net you either KPRS/KCMO or KJLS/Hays. Other than that, generally nothing.

Warminster PA(Philly 'burbs):

Semi-local WPRB from Princeton NJ. In tropo or when WPRB is off the air, there's
WARM-FM from York-Harrisburg and WESR from Delmarva.

Newark, NJ area. Mostly IBOC interference from 103.5 KTU, but WPRB from Princeton cuts through the static, in certain places

Far northwest suburban Chicago.... 103.3 is moderate splatter from WKSC (Chicago on 103.5). On 103.1, the other first adjacent, I'm midway between a couple of class A FMs. Pick one and tilt your radio. Neither is an issue for 103.3

In Atlanta, 103.3 is occupied by WVEE (V103), a Black, urban, hip-hop station owned by EnterCom. It consistently shows up in the Top 5 of the ratings.
It was previously a CBS O&O but ironically never carried CBS News. WAOK (1380) is its sister talk station with a Black talk format and carries the Al Sharp Tongue Show.

Around the Sacto valley area, KATM out of Modesto, as well as KBAA from Grass Valley. I actually constructed the Grass Valley facility when I worked for Salem, and they acquired the CP for it. It was on Banner Mountain, but was recently moved to a site near Gold Run, off of I-80.
