What do you or did you get on 104.3

East Tennessee: Nothing with WKHT and its IBOC.

Dayton, Ohio: Usually either WNLT (K-Love), Delhi Hills (Cincinnati OH) or what is now WNNP, Richwood (Columbus) Ohio. WOMC makes the trip now and then, and was almost local strength on one particular Saturday with a major, fog-filled tropo evengt which even brought Saginaw and Sarnia in. During that occasion, a WOMC listener called their request show driving back from Chicago in South Bend and had them loud and clear---but had the same fog.

Mason City, IA:
An iffy to clear signal from the recently rebranded KVGO/Spring Valley, MN.

Central KS:
Depending on antenna positioning, it’s either KVGB/Great Bend or KBEQ/KC (usually it’s GB).

In the northern suburbs of Seattle:
CHHR Vancouver- LG 104.3

Used to be KAFE Bellingham WA (The Soft Rock Kafe, get it? Gotta love the late 80s) When 104.5 moved into the Seattle market from The Dalles OR, 104.3 Bellingham and 104.1 Vancouver swapped frequencies to make it all work. I assume some cash was also brought forth to make that happen. It did make for a funny event at the border (Peace Arch Park, for the locals), where station staff from the two stations swapped these giant #1 and #3 to publicize the news, while being carefully watched by both border patrols.

Since I am not particularly close to any of the towers, I can get all 3 without any overload pretty much. At least when I am stationary.

In the near north Chicago suburbs 104.3 is WBMX playing Rhythmic oldies. They transmit from the Sears tower so they have a very good signal all around the Chicago area.

40 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. 104.3 WBMX is one of the better city signals out here. Going back even to the days when it was WJJD-FM.

Warminster PA(Philly 'burbs):

Usually splatter from local 104.5 WRFF or semi-local 104.1 WAEB-FM(B-104) from Allentown. In good conditions,
there's WAXQ from NYC and WZFT(Z-104.3) from Baltimore.

Nothing but splatter/IBOC noise from local CHR 104.5 WLKT, Lexington

Ellensburg WA

Normally nothing in town. KZBE Omak (Hot AC) is variable on the west end of town. Often will be heard around exit 106. There are areas a little east of town where K282AA Kennewick (KMBI) will sneak in with the right radio, at 282 watts. On tropo scatter, KHTR Pullman WA (Country) and CHLG Vancouver BC (Soft AC) have been heard.

Eskip logs: Just two, both Hot AC's. KMXY Grand Junction CO and KBIG Los Angeles.

Back home in Yakima, K282BA Maupin OR (KPDQ) and KMNT Chehalis WA (Country) were in my logbook. Both were heard above 5,000 feet near Rimrock. The K282BA is defunct and deleted.
