FM Frequency of the Week 2018-19-20: 90.9

One more step through the U.S. FM non-comm band.
What do you/did you/have you heard on 90.9?

East Tennessee: Weak, but usually readable signal from the King of Kings station in Cookeville, WWOG.

Retro/other: Dayton, OH: Well-known pubcaster WGUC, Cincinnati

Retro DX Clip of the week from Bob Hawkins: It was the moon landing (Apollo 14) expected later today on this clip from KCSU, Colorado Springs. No idea where this reception took place. http://46124.info/FM/Colorado/CO Fort Collins 90.9 1971 KCSU.mp3

Lexington, KY:
Weak signal from Classical/Public WGUC, Cincinnati (18.5kW @ 686' ~75 mi.)

Zachary, LA (Baton Rouge area):
Weak (sometimes nonexistent) signal from Southeastern Louisiana Univ. College/AAA KSLU, Hammond (3kW @ 141' ~42 mi.)
In south BR, near LSU campus, KLSU stomps all over adjacent 90.9

In the near north chicago suburbs 90.9 is all WDCB from the college of Du Page. They play some good jazz sometimes.

Great station. Listen to them a lot. The only Chicagoland radio station remaining that still plays jazz and blues. Good reception at my location. They are also simulcast by WRTE on 90.7 in Chicago.

Here near Sacto, it's KXJZ Class B, Capitol Public Radio (NPR affil). I listen to them quite a lot on weekends...

Moses Lake, WA: 90.9 is pretty much blank here, although with a good receiver, I can pick up KRBM Pendleton. Until recently, there was IBOC hash from KNWR 90.7 until they turned the IBOC off.
