FM Frequency of the Week 2018-19-20: 91.5

Smith County, Texas, 5 miles NW of Tyler:

Most common is KHML Madisonville, Texas 95kW @ 104m HAAT owned by Houston Christian Broadcasters. It is a repeater of the flagship 105.7 KHCB-FM in Houston, and just recently became a bit on the redundant side, given HCB's purchase of KBPC Crockett in February. KTXK Texarkana, Texas 100kW @ 93m HAAT owned by the Texarkana Community College is less common, but does make appearances in this part of ETX.

Far northwest Chicago suburbs. 91.5 is all WBEZ with a good signal. One of the better signals from downtown Chicago.

A satellator of Freedom Radio FM in Manistee, MI. Before it moved down a notch from 91.7 to accommodate 91.9 WGCP's massive upgrade a couple of years ago (WGCP went from 3kW on a puny tower near Cadillac to 2.65kW from the much taller Harrietta tower home to WIAA and WOLW [and a translator of WPBN-TV]), WICA was commonly heard.

Lexington, KY:
Clear frequency on a good tuner. Otherwise, bleedover and IBOC noise from WUKY 91.3 (100kW)

Zachary, LA:
Good-fair signal from local religious KPAE, Erwinville (10kW @ 164' ~17 mi.)

Moses Lake, WA:
KLWS is a local on 91.5 w/ HD radio
